Bird Watching Trips
Graceland offers a variety of bird watching trips led by experienced and knowledgeable bird enthusiasts.
All trips are to Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge. You will need to bring a lunch. Trips will finish birding by 2PM. There are spring and fall outings--however, the fall trips are dependent upon the bird migration, and are open to possible cancelation. There is no cost for any trip; all trips are rain or shine.
All outings are led by Indiana Master Naturalist Gary Dorman. While birds are the main purpose of these trips, we will take opportunity to view and discuss all aspects of creation on the refuge. Please pre-register for all trips. Trips are limited to the first 20 to register. All trips appropriate for age 8 and up. Anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult unless prior arrangement is made.
Call Gary or Becky Dorman at (812) 944-6448 ext. 138 or ext. 110 with any questions. Registration may be made online or by calling Gary or Becky.
