Link Up – Connecting Preschoolers to God and Each Other
Preschool "Link Up" meets every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. -10:15 a.m. The focus in Link Up is to love children into learning about God through relationships with consistent weekly teachers and small group discovery activities. Using "My First Look" curriculum, preschoolers will engage in Bible Stories that reinforce three main truths: God Made Me, God Loves Me and Jesus wants to be my Friend Forever. Learn more about our age-specific class schedules below.
(babies 6 weeks and older)
Turning TWO is such an exciting time! In so many ways Two year-olds are leaving Babyhood behind, but they are still too little to learn in a formal setting. That's why we have created a brand-new "Pre-Climbers" class exclusively for the babies who miss the August 1st cut-off but will celebrate their 2nd birthday by the end of 2013.
Pre Climbers will have consistent caregivers who genuinely enjoy loving babies into learning about God. On the weeks that everyone is happy enough to venture out of the classroom, Pre-Climbers will get to hear a Bible Story and sing songs in the Preschool Worship room with the Climbers classes. They will also have fun in the "ball pit" at the Fun Factory each week. And, if there is time between the cuddles and diaper changes, Pre-Climbers will experience coloring or putting stickers on their very own "craft" to take home.
Climbers are busy little learners who love to do everything "hands-on!" In Climbers, 2 and 3 year-olds will engage in active learning through guided play, discovery games, crafts that reinforce the Bible Story. Each week, from 9:40 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., Climbers will travel with their teachers to the Preschool Worship room to sing songs and participate in Bible story-time and active, motion-based Bible Verse learning!
Preschoolers are eager learners who love to discover that God is at work all around them! Each Sunday our preschool classes 2 will engage in games and crafts that reinforce the Bible Story. Most weeks, classes travel to visit the "Snack Mama" to build a tasty treat that connects to the week’s lesson.
