Paid Childcare Openings

If you are at least 16 years old and enjoy being with children, there is a ministry just for you. The paid childcare ministry serves other ministries in the church when childcare is needed for different events. It is a great way to serve, and make a little extra cash too! If you are interested in becoming a part of our team, please call Jennifer Cunningham at 317-774-6440.

Teacher Appreciation Sunday

On Sunday, July 27, we are acknowledging our public, private, and home school teachers for all the great work that they put into investing in our children.

Guest Speakers

During the search process for our new Senior Pastor we will be having guest speakers that will fill our pulpit on occasion. These Pastors are not candidates for our Senior Pastor position, but friends of our congregation that we have ask to share with us.  Continue to be in prayer as we seek God’s direction in our Senior
Pastor search.
Sunday, July27: Pastor Chris Harper, originally from Oklahoma, currently resides in Louisville with his wife, Ally, and two kids, Scarlett and Malachi. Chris serves as an administrator at Christian Academy Schools at the Indiana campus. Chris is passionate about teaching this generation about the truth that is God’s Word and God’s love for the saints. Chris serves as an evangelist in the inner-city of Louisville while also traveling across the country speaking at various churches, conferences, and revivals teaching the “full console” of the gospel. A young mind in an old soul, Chris is confident of two things; 1) that he is a great sinner, and 2) he serves an even greater God.

Open Door Youth Services

(ODYS), formerly the New Albany Youth Shelter, provides a safe and nurturing environment for our community’s at-risk youth.  Recently, the shelter experienced a flood which damaged their facility and many of their supplies.  During the month of August, the Graceland Glocal Team will be collecting donations required for the youth to attend school.  In addition, the shelter is in need of items for their kitchen, food pantry, boys and girls clothes closets, and general hygiene supplies.  Please visit our display at the Kiosk in August for a complete listing of items needed.  Donations can be delivered to the church office or the Kiosk on Sunday mornings.  For additional information, please contact Becky Dorman at 812-944-6448, ext. 110 or Robin Mays at 812-256-4634.
