Welcome!  We hope you will feel at home with us. We understand that it is normal to feel a bit uncomfortable when visiting a new church. Our goal is for your visit with us to be special.  We desire you to be comfortable and relaxed so that you can connect with God without distractions. We have provided the information below to help you know what to expect, where to park, etc.

  

The services at Graceland Baptist Church feature an energized worship service, practical / Bible-based messages, with quality nursery and children’s programming.  You can expect to be greeted by friendly people, but we will never embarrass you or ask you to stand up and tell us your name. Also, while we do take an offering, we don’t expect our visitors to give.  You are our guest.  For questions about specific ministries click HERE.

We believe that God cares more about what is inside us than he does about what is on the outside. At Graceland you see people dressed casually in jeans, khakis, business attire and any other combination you can think of. Our pastor and other leaders may dress up and occasionally wear a tie, but you will not stand out if you are dressed comfortably. We only ask that you dress in a way that will not hinder you or the people around you from focusing on God.

Our worship services start at 9:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. We offer Adult & Children's Bible Fellowship Classes at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. as well.  The Graceland Student Ministries Bible Fellowship Classes start at 10:30 a.m .  On Sunday coffee is available in the foyer and many of our members arrive early to enjoy some coffee and fellowship. It is usually best to plan to arrive a little early so that you can find a seat.  We think it can be difficult to worship God when we are rushed. We usually have several latecomers (it happens to all of us doesn’t it), so if you do arrive after late, it’s not a problem so don’t let that stop you from joining in the worship service.  We do our best to be good stewards of your time. You can expect to be dismissed by 10:30 for the first service and noon for the second.  On Wednesday worship starts at 6:30 p.m. with Life University (Spring & Fall) classes starting at 7:00p.m. (there is something for everyone).  Middle & High School worship begins at 6:30 p.m. and lasts until 8:00p.m. (in the family life building).  AWANA (during the school year) and Kids University (during the summer) also begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m. (for children preschool through fifth grade).

We have lots of places to park.  There are visitor spaces just south of the front doors of the main building.  There are also spaces for expectant mothers, seniors and others strategically located throughout our parking areas.
